Paula Statskey

With a background in civil engineering and a passion for reducing environmental impact, Paula Statskey was a shoo-in for the position of energy division manager. A graduate of UVM with a degree in civil engineering, she worked in road construction for three years. Later, it was her work in roof replacements that sparked an interest in the science of how a whole house works and the best ways to insulate a home. “I wanted something I could commit to and care about,” she said. Statskey lives in Essex with her partner. In her spare time, she snowboards, works on her fixer-upper house, and paints illustrations.
