Bathing should be a relaxing experience, but sitting in a combination shower/tub surrounded by three blank walls and looking out on a toilet hardly invites serenity and reflection. In this bathing alcove, the view predominates instead of the surroundings (which aren’t too shabby either); this is the kind of tub that would be hard to leave once you got in. The handshower attached to the faucet is particularly useful not only for washing hair but also for cleaning up the tub afterwards.
